Stitch & Sew Studio
Stitch & Sew Studio is a creative program where youth explore the world of fashion through hands-on activities like sketching, sewing, styling, and design challenges. Students build confidence, learn new skills, and express their creativity while working toward a final runway presentation of their work.
Dream It!
During this 8-week course, students will take on 4 projects learning basic and intermediate sewing techniques. We will take a skill-building approach to sewing such as using and modifying patterns, understanding proper fabric selections, and how to hand and machine sew. This class is for all skill levels!
Skills Learned
Students will learn how to identify different types of fabrics and understand their characteristics. They will also be introduced to the basic operations of Brother home sewing machines while gaining foundational skills in reading sewing patterns, making basic pattern alterations like lengthening or shortening for proper fit, and installing zippers.
Stitch & Sew Studio
$200/ Week
The Stitch & Sew Studio Summer Program is $200 a week including midday snack! Sessions are 10am to 5pm and will be held Monday through Friday. Students will also enjoy all field trips, guest workshops, and hands-on fashion activities, with curriculum designed specifically for their chosen track; extended care is available for an additional fee (please inquire for details before registration).A $50 Registration Fee is required to secure your seat in a program.
